THERE’S NOT ALWAYS ROOM FOR THE CARRIERS OF A PROMISE

And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Luke 2:7 NKJV

There’s not always room for the carriers of a promise

Have you ever felt like you don’t fit in? Have you tried everything to fit and yet somehow it’s just not working? Mary was carrying the promised Messiah but nobody in Bethlehem was able to make room for her. They didn’t have an understanding of what was going on. Gods provision for her was not in the inns of the town but in a stable; a stable that was somehow strangely perfect (imagine how different things would be today if all of our nativity scenes were a hotel room!).

The things that God has revealed to you and put within you are often not revealed to many others in its early stages. If people don’t understand and things aren’t working for you with the doors that you are knocking, don’t try and force them open. Don’t exhaust yourself trying to fit into a place or position that was never Gods provision for you.

Relax in your spirit, surrender to His perfect will and allow God to lead you, as strange as it might seem, into what He has for you. It is there that you can be yourself and it is there that the promise will be fulfilled.
