It’s sometimes a horrifying thought that we are here by grace and grace alone like why does God want to give us his grace why do we deserve it at all what made god think that little old me is worth of his goodness and mercy each and every one of us fail him on the daily without fail, if your reading this thinking no I don’t sorry to tell you that you just did.
I think sometimes we need to hear that we don’t deserve grace that sometimes we think well I’m saved so it comes with the deal me and the big man made but it’s not I believe that god’s grace is given out to everyone no one is to good or no one to bad to accept God’s grace because we do have to accept it, I mean it’s always sitting there ready for you but our stubbornness stops us from doing it but that’s why its grace, grace is given to us not when we ask for it as if we were speaking to a earthly king or judge because that is man’s grace this is the grace of the king of kings the lord of lords and the judge of all mankind his grace is free to those who humble themselves and pray
Diane Campbell once said to me ”Matty you know no matter what you do there will always be grace” me being me when on to quiz her in a way that would make any one angry by giving her some hypothetical situations where I asked what if I killed someone, what if I sole something, what if I went back in to the ways of the world and completely turned my back on God and decided to reject Jesus and in a moment as if she had this planned all along she just said “GRACE” to me I was shocked I never really thought that God would accept me if I done any of that because how I was raised in a God fearing house hold like I should know better than to do any of this, but then she said something that has stuck with me from that day she said “ Matty I want you to listen carefully to me there is something you need to understand there is grace upon grace upon grace upon grace and that grace doesn’t stop ever he sent his son to die for you and for me so that we might be free.
Recently elevation and maverick have released there album old church basement and there is a song on there called Million Little Miracles and it says “All my life, I've been carried by grace, Don't ask me how 'cause I can't explain, It's nothing short of a miracle I'm here, I've got some blessings that I don't deserve, I've got some scars, but that's how you learn, It's nothing short of a miracle I'm here, I think it over and it doesn't add up, I know it comes from above” and if you stop and think about that it really just shows us the love our father has for us,
I say all this to say to you regardless of how far away you think you are from God there is this thing called grace that’s means he is always right there closer than a brother ready to forgive and forget and when he forgives he chooses to forget our sin never to be spoken off man may bring it up again but gods grace wipes you sin away and makes you whiter than snow.
